Sewa Setu Assam is an initiative of the Government of Assam to deliver government services at the doorsteps of citizens. It aims to close the gap between citizens and public services. The Right to Public Services (RTPS) Act, passed in 2012, mandates that citizens receive notified public services within a set timeframe. In 2019, an adjustment was made to include the final six scheduled areas.
All major public services, including government utility and administrative functions, are accessible through this platform. The primary objective is to promote the Digital India campaign at the state level, offering hassle-free services such as online applications, grievance filing, tracking, acknowledgment, and receipt.
